Zip supports Trees for the Future
Zip are proud to be the first European company to actively support the work of Trees for the Future. Trees for the Future rely on the support of business and organisations to carry out their work, so links with companies like Standard Brands, makers of Zip firelighters, are invaluable. Look out for special Zip packs carrying the Trees for the Future logo available in stores from 1st September.
Planting a tree a minute in Rebu
With the support of Zip, Trees for the Future aim to plant 750,000 trees around the town of Rebu, Ethiopia over the next twelve months - That is equivalent to planting 1.4 trees every minute!
2009 marks the 20th Anniversary of Trees for the Future
Trees for the Future will be kicking off their 20th Anniversary on September 19th with an international celebration in downtown Silver Spring. Events will include speakers from local environmental organisations and cultural presentations, music and food from some of the many countries where Trees for the Future works.
